Bell and howell model 253 rv recorded with a cad gxl2200 microphone. The sounds are the projector being turned on, the bulb being switched on and the film reel started. The process is reversed at the end.
Trying to start a tractor that has a dead battery. Just makes some clicking sounds. You can also hear the springs creaking under the seat. Recorded on cheap hand-held cassette recorder w/ built in mic.
A train starting it's engine at scarborough station. (see train leaves station. Wav) for the other half of this sound. I didn't see the point in including the middle bit, as it sat there for about ten minutes making the same sound. - recorded with my zoom h2 -.
I recorded this at costco in federal way, wa and it is 3 freezer motors running consecutively. I was also walking along the freezers to try to get a stereo effect but don't think it worked too well. But if anyone can use it then go for it :^)i used a 'yamaha pocketrak c24'.
